KING OF SOLE article in the Ottawa Citizen

There was an article in the Ottawa Citizen today on sneaker culture, mainly focussing on our pal Rob "The Shoe Man" Krantzberg. I got a blurb or 2 in there as well as giving the shop a little shine. Peep the article online here and/or grab a copy of today's paper.

House Of Paint Fund Raiser, Friday, April 24th @ Barrymoore's

House of PainT is back this summer, and to celebrate a three-month countdown to the July main event we’re hosting LauncH 2009 - a huge fundraising bash at Barrymore’s Music Hall on Friday, April 24.

The night will feature a 2on2 BBoy*Bgirl battle (w/prizes from our sponsors), a retrospective of NCR graf pieces and HoP footage on Barrymore’s giant screen, a silent auction and a special live performance on the mic by CROUP - while some of the scene’s dopest DJs keep the party going all night long!

As House of PainT has grown from +/-100 attendees in 2003 to nearly 1000 ppl braving the rain, hail and lightning last year, so have the infrastructure needs and costs for this amazing event. We are reaching out to the Ottawa community on this night to raise some very needed funds for this year’s jam which will be taking place Saturday, JULY 25th.

So join us @ Barrymore’s on April 24th for a killer party in support of this year’s jam.

F*&K PJ

Heres a hilarious clip from the GZA show the other night.

FLIGHT DISTANCE - "GPS" Video

Our homies and crew mates FLIGHT DISTANCE (fresh off their show opening for GZA Saturday night) have dropped a dope lil indie video for an older track called "GPS" off their first album "Run For Your Lives" (get a copy of that album here at the shop for $10). Peep more of their ish here on myspace.

Keep an ear to the street for their highly anticipated sophomore effort produced by my main man (and partner in rhyme) Croup, and if you don't have his recently released album ("Who Let The Gods Out) then what are you waiting for, pick it up asap here at the shop for $10! Peep his ish here on myspace.
